This Privacy Policy explains how The Phalanx collects, uses, and protects information when you use the site. The short version: we collect the data needed to run accounts, paper betting, leaderboards, and site security. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

The Phalanx is an entertainment and paper-betting product. No real-money wagering happens on the site.

Account information: email address, display name, authentication provider, and basic profile settings you choose to provide.
Gameplay information: picks, paper bankroll activity, leaderboards, achievements, and other activity created while using The Phalanx.
Technical information: device, browser, IP address, log data, cookies, and similar diagnostics needed to keep the site secure and working.
Payment information: if paid features are enabled, payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on The Phalanx.

How we use information

To create and secure your account, sign you in, and prevent abuse.
To run the app: show picks, track paper bets, maintain leaderboards, restore sessions, and personalize your experience.
To debug, monitor performance, investigate errors, and improve The Phalanx.
To send account-related messages such as password resets, confirmations, policy updates, or important service notices.

We do not sell your personal information.
